This was the competition entry for a $10,000 traveling fellowship.
The welcome center for a bird sanctuary at Bolsa Chica Wetlands in California.
The concept was to combine learning and application through sequential and intentionally curated experiences throughout the walk to the main bird sanctuary and viewing area.
And also to do it in a modular construction method that touches the ground below in the most minimal way possible.
